Ellie is a succubus from the comic book Hellblazer, a friend of sorts to the sorcerer John Constantine, who branded with a sigil that cloaks her from magical detection by Hell after an unfortunate affair involving an angel and an illegitimate child. My version is pretty nice for a demoness, but is somewhat embittered after her lover's death at the hands of his fellow angels and is an unabashed sexual hedonist. As far as her 'official' function, she now considers herself retired and no longer actively seeks the damnation of mortals.

Powers: Ellie has retractable wings, claws and fangs and the ability to make herself irresistible (at the player's option, of course) to any normal human of either gender, as well as variety of nonhuman entities. She can assume a male form at will and change her appearance in a variety of other ways. She is very strong and resistant (though not immune) to most ordinary forms of damage, but is vulnerable to magic, holy water and assorted other holy influences. She is well-acquainted with ritual magic and may perform an occasional minor infernal miracle, usually by means of her kiss, which can also be a potent weapon.

Important note: Most demonic types, at least from worlds very similar to Ellie's, will not be able to detect her presence at a distance, and all but the most powerful ones will have some trouble recognizing her for what she is on sight, though they may get an eerie feeling and can probably pick it up by careful observation (or if she carelessly reveals herself.) This is due to a spell cast on her by Constantine, designed to cloak her from detection from her former employers. It has no effect on anyone not of Hellish origin, which could get quite amusing in mixed company.
